Quality Management Representative Hemotherapy

Quality Management Representative Hemotherapy

According to the "Directive on the collection of blood and blood components and the use of blood products (haemotherapy)" published in November 2005, all healthcare institutions using blood/blood products must appoint a (medical) quality officer. This has the task of implementing, continuously developing and monitoring a quality assurance system specifically for haemotherapy.

Some of the transfusion establishments, especially practices, do not want or are unable to appoint the quality representative themselves. In these cases, an external quality representative with appropriate qualifications can be appointed.

We would be pleased to advise you on this matter.
